Passing cold front will bring cooler temperatures for end of work week

A cold front will pass through southeast Nebraska Friday morning allowing for cooler temperatures Friday afternoon.  Before the front passes, clouds will be on the increase late Thursday night in to Friday morning.  This will keep temperatures from falling to the 40°s for a fourth consecutive day.  Instead, you’ll be greeted by middle-50°s.

Expect to see mostly cloudy skies throughout the day Friday.  Temperatures will be cooler with highs in the 70°.  Winds will begin to increase as they shift around out of the north.  Gusts to 25 mph will be possible, especially during the afternoon and early evening.
