Patchy fog, split weekend and much warmer next week.

Fog14day

Well, we missed out on the storms last night but still received some much needed precip.  Most areas around LNK picked up about .25″ of rain.   Now as skies partially clear tonight, a lot of moisture will be trapped near the surface.  The map on the left is a visibility.  The dark shaded areas indicate possible fog.  Notice the areas around and just to the east of LNK have a possibility of fog tomorrow AM.  Sunshine will return for Friday along with milder temps.  Enjoy Friday because more storms move into the area for Saturday.  Summer warmth returns next week and our long range forecast through Memorial Day weekend carries temps above normal.  It still looks like we could have a round of severe weather Thursday/Friday of next week.  It’s been a pretty slow severe weather season around here and that’s ok!!!  Let’s bring on the summer heat!!!
