NORFOLK, Neb. (KLKN) — This Thanksgiving, the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) and Iowa State Patrol (ISP) are teaming up for a Thanksgiving Highway Safety Campaign.

Both organizations will be running patrol operations on major highways in Northeast Nebraska and northwest Iowa. The campaign runs from Wednesday, Nov.25 to Sunday, Nov. 29.

“Nebraska State Troopers work tirelessly to keep roads safe, but the effort doesn’t stop at the Nebraska border,” said NSP Captain Dain Hicks. “Our partnership with the Iowa State Patrol is designed to maintain safe roads for all motorists traveling in the area this Thanksgiving.”

Thankful for the great people of Nebraska and our opportunity to serve.

From all of us at NSP, #HappyThanksgiving!
