Patty Pansing Brooks announces run for Congress
Brooks will be running against Jeff Fortenberry in the upcoming election.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska State Senator, Patty Pansing Brooks, announced her campaign to represent Nebraska’s First District in Congress on Monday.
Brooks released a video on Twitter announcing her campaign. Brooks will be running against Jeff Fortenberry in the upcoming election.
Fortenberry has served as Nebraska’s First District representative since 2005.
Change can only happen when we elect leaders who understand and listen to the problems our communities face.

Brooks was elected to the Nebraska Legislature in 2014 and re-elected in 2018.
