People’s City Mission, Matt Talbot serve Christmas dinner to those in need

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Dozens of volunteers with the People’s City Mission served around 300 to 400 people in need, a tradition they have done for decades.
BBQ Ribs, with all of the sides, were on the menu Saturday.
“For a number of years now, for Christmas dinner, we serve BBQ ribs with all the fixings, it’s their most favorite dinner,” Pastor Tom, the CEO of the Mission said. “It takes a good day to put it all together. The pork ribs are pretty big. We spend a lot of money buying because you know, right now in the store, meat is really high.”
Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach also served up a warm meal for those in need both on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
