Pet adoption fees waived at Capital Humane Society Friday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — In celebration of National Pet Day, you can adopt a pet for less on Friday.

All pet adoption fees will be waived from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. for all Capital Humane Society animals. Fees are being covered by Union Bank & Trust for the one-day event.

UBT donated $6,000 to cover all adoption fees on a first-come, first served basis.

For those interested in adopting a pet during the event, go to the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center at 6500 S. 70th Street.

Waived adoption fees do not cover pet licenses or rabies shots.
