PHOTOS: Over 100 drivers helped by Nebraska troopers during winter storm

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska State Patrol says more than 100 drivers have been helped by troopers since the start of this latest winter storm.

They’re urging everyone to take it slow and check ahead this Wednesday as many roads are still covered by snow and ice.

That includes the St. Paul area where firefighters responded to a two vehicle accident around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

We’re told one person was injured about six miles north of the city on Highway 281.

They were taken to the hospital where officials expect them to recover.

Authorities have not identified anyone involved in the wreck.
