LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Beach Boys will be performing at the Pioneers Park venue Sunday evening amid the coronavirus pandemic following directed health measures.

This is the first concert since the outbreak happened back in mid-March. A lot of shows have either been cancelled or pushed back to a later date due to the virus.

Ryan Weiss, the Director of Operations for Pinewood Bowl and PBA, said they were approved by the Health Department to let the show go on as long as they follow the rules.

“We are excited, we want to keep doing shows and keep bringing guests here and have them feel safe” Weiss said.

Masks must be worn, temperatures will be checked at each gate, and the venue has socially distant seating set up. The crew also added extra outdoor bathrooms and more sanitizer slots to keep things clean.
