Pink Bandana preparing for annual mud volleyball tournament

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Pink Bandana is preparing for their annual ‘Beat Breast Cancer Mud Volleyball Tournament.’ Pink Bandana is a Nebraska non-profit organization that raises funds, creates awareness and educates about people 40 and under fighting breast cancer. The mud volleyball tournament is Pink Bandana’s signature event every year.

According to Pink Bandana’s website, they too often hear stories of past recipients either ignoring a sign or a doctor telling them they are too young to worry about breast cancer. The organization’s youngest recipient was 21 years old.
