Pius X dominates in win on the road against Crete

CRETE, Neb. (KLKN) – The Pius X Thunderbolts cruised to a 41-12 win on the road against the Crete High School Cardinals on Friday night.

Both teams came into the game looking for their third win of the season.

This was the first time the teams have matched up since 2015.

Pius saw an impressive performance from senior fullback Matt Bohy, who scored three times in the game.

The Thunderbolts’ defense applied heavy pressure to the Cardinals’ offense.

Crete quarterback Tadd Tebrink scored twice in the game, with both touchdowns coming on the ground.

Crete will be back at home to take on Waverly next week.

Pius X will be on the road against Skutt Catholic.
