Police ID Lincoln man killed in motorcycle crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities have identified a Lincoln man killed in a crash Monday night.

Lincoln police said in an accident report 31-year-old Tyler Roth died in the crash near 27th and Randolph.

Roth was ejected from his motorcycle after colliding with a Nissan Altima driven by a 23-year-old man in the intersection, police said.

Police say Roth was heading southbound on 27th street and the vehicle was going eastbound on Randolph St. when the two collided. Witnesses reported Roth had a red light when he entered the intersection.

Police say alcohol is suspected for the driver of the Nissan Altima.
