A body found Sunday in Wilderness park has been identified as a missing woman last seen in Lincoln in November.

Lincoln police said 36-year-old Justine Miller’s body was found by a couple walking their dog through the park.

Autopsy results indicate she died from hypothermia, her family said. Police are awaiting final results. Foul play is not suspected, police said.

Miller, originally from Iowa, was last seen November 18 leaving Bryan West. She had previously stayed at the People’s City Mission.

“We sincerely thank everyone for their love, support and prayers through this difficult time in our lives,” her family wrote on a Facebook page dedicated to finding her. “We are heart broken and will forever miss our sweet, kind, Justine.”

Police said Miller’s body could have been decomposing for several days before it was found.
