Police investigating armed robbery in south Lincoln
Police say a 51-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint while walking along south 19th street Friday night.
Lincoln Police are investigating after a man was robbed at gunpoint Friday night in south Lincoln.
The victim, a 51-year-old man, was walking on south 19th Street near Pawnee Street when he noticed a black SUV parked on the curb. Officers say as he approached the car, a woman got out and demanded his phone and money from him.
The victim also reported a woman in the driver’s seat of the car pointing a handgun at him, who told him to also give them the rings on his fingers.
Police say the victim also saw a male sitting in the back seat of the SUV.
After giving the suspects his phone, money, and the five rings on his fingers, officers say the car drove off.
The robbery is still under investigation and police encourage anyone with information to contact them immediately.
