Police find creator of dog abuse video in western Nebraska; pup rescued

UPDATE, 2:25 p.m. Friday: North Platte Police say the dog in the video has been located and moved to a shelter.
It’s unclear if someone has been charged with abusing the dog, but officers say the situation “has been dealt with.”
The department thanked those who helped to find the dog.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police in western Nebraska are looking for whoever terrorized a dog and took video of it.
The North Platte Police Department said it’s been made aware of a disturbing video circulating on Facebook.
The video depicts someone striking and dragging a dog.
Officers have gotten ahold of the video and are working to identify the person in it.
