Police seeking Iowa man involved in fatal shooting in eastern Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Blair Police Department is searching for an Iowa man who was involved in a fatal shooting early Friday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m., officers were sent to a home near 10th and Washington Streets on a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found two victims, a man and a woman.  Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman, who had gunshot wounds to her legs, was taken to a local hospital.  The extent of her injuries is unknown.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Elijah Logan of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Several law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, are helping police locate Logan.
