Police warn of fake auctions signs placed across Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – UPDATE: Capt. Todd Kocian said Thursday evening that there is an auction going on at the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel this weekend.
But Kocian is unsure of what items are being sold at the auction on Saturday.
UPDATE:
There appears to have been some miscommunication regarding the validity of the advertised auction mentioned earlier. There IS a sale/auction scheduled for this Saturday however the specific items being sold are unknown at this time.
