A line to get into the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center started to form hours before the event started.

Those at the front said they slept outside overnight.

Trump spoke in support of Gov. Jim Pillen and Sen. Pete Ricketts, who are running for reelection.

“We can’t lose these great people,” Trump said. “You’ll never get them back.”

He brought both Ricketts and Pillen on stage to speak.

“Get out and vote,” Pillen said. “And vote Republican up and down the line.”

Nebraska voters at the rally told Channel 8 that their biggest concern heading into midterms is affordability.

Trump vowed that the price of gas will drop soon and said the war with Iran is nearly over.

“It’s going to end very soon,” the President said. “And when that happens, oil will come tumbling down.”

Trump signed an executive order on stage. It is aimed at expanding access to red-dyed diesel fuel, which is usually used in off-roading vehicles.

His trip to Nebraska is one of many he has scheduled ahead of the election.

The President travels to San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday.
