Recall Alert: Aflac ducks, kids’ pajamas and refrigerators

Target is recalling over 120,000 of its Cat & Jack Unicorn Cozy pajama sets.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Communicorp is recalling over 600,000 of its Aflac plush promotional ducks. The company says the components of the recalled ducks contain levels of phthalates that exceed the federal phthalate content standard.

A component of the promotional fishing duck also contains a level of lead that exceeds the federal lead content standard.

Phthalates and lead are toxic, if ingested by young children, and can cause adverse health issues. Communicorp is contacting Aflac employees and licensed agents who purchased these plush promotional ducks directly.

Target is recalling over 120,000 of its Cat & Jack Unicorn Cozy pajama sets. The children’s pajama sets fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

If your child has these recalled pajamas, you can return them to any Target store for a full refund. If you purchased them online, you can contact Target to receive a prepaid return label to return the pajama set.

The firm is also contacting all known purchasers directly.

Check your refrigerator, Electrolux is recalling over 365,000 of its Frigidaire and Electrolux refrigerators. The company says the ice level detector arm in the ice maker can break into pieces and fall into the ice bucket, posing a choking hazard.

If you have this recalled fridge, stop using the ice makers, empty the ice bucket and contact Electrolux. The company will schedule a technician to replace the ice maker, free of charge.
