Recall Alert: flour, steam irons and plush toys

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Four types of Gold Medal all-purpose flour, bleached and unbleached have been recalled. The company says its due to a possible salmonella contamination. The FDA and CDC is asking consumers not to eat any uncooked products made with Gold Medal flour.

The recalled bags of flour have a ‘better if used by’ date of March 27, 2024 and March 28, 2024.

Vornado is recalling over 317,000 of its Steamfast and Brookstone travel steam irons. The power cord can become damaged near the cord bushing, which can lead to overheating of the cord, posing fire and burn hazards. Cord damage near the bushing can also result in exposed copper wires, posing a shock hazard.

If you have the recalled product, visit the Steamfast or Vornado website to register for the recall and receive a refund.

Diamond Visions is recalling over 6,000 of its plush monkey toys. The eyes on the toy can detach, posing a small part choking hazard to children.
