Recall Alert: helmets, children’s pajama sets and candles

The company is contacting all known purchasers.

LINCOLN, Neb.(KLKN)- Sakar International is recalling over 33,000 of its multi-purpose helmets. The recalled helmets do not comply with the positional stability and retention system requirements of the U.S. CPSC federal safety standard for bicycle helmets. The helmets can fail to protect in the event of a crash, posing a risk of head injury.

Contact Sakar for instructions to return the helmet for a refund in the form of a $30 gift card. The company is also contacting all known purchasers.

Over 38,000 children’s pajama sets are being recalled, manufactured by Selfie Craft Company. The pajama sets fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Consumers are being asked to cut the recalled product in half vertically and submit a photo of the destroyed pajama set to Selfie Craft Company for a full refund.

Ross stores are recalling over 5,800 of its Taylor and Finch Six-Week scented candles. The product can combust while lit causing the glass container to break, posing fire and injury hazards.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles and return them to a Ross location for a full refund.
