Recall Alert: Power washers, stackable chairs and off-road vehicles

Amazon is recalling over 22,000 of its AmazonBasics school classroom stackable chairs.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – GENERAC power systems is recalling over 53,000 of its DR power electric start pressure washers. The company says the electronic start/stop button can malfunction and self-start, posing a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, if the unit is in a confined space.

If you have this product, contact GENERAC to arrange an authorized dealer to replace the start/stop switch, free of charge.

Amazon is recalling over 22,000 of its AmazonBasics school classroom stackable chairs. The weld on the chair’s frame can fail, posing a fall hazard.

If you have these chairs, stop using them and contact Amazon for instructions on how to throw them away and get a full refund. Amazon is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Polaris is recalling over 1,000 of its RZR recreational off-road vehicles. The company says an incorrectly routed battery cable can contact the prop shaft, which can result in an electrical short, and this poses a fire hazard.

The company is asking consumers to stop using the recalled vehicles and contact Polaris for a free inspection and repair. The dealer will reroute the battery cable and, if needed, replace it.
