Recall Alert: steamers, air fresheners and electric bikes

Reckitt is offering consumers a voucher for a free replacement.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Empower Brands is recalling over 518,000 of its BLACK+DECKER garment steamers. The company says the steamers can expel, spray or leak hot water when being used, and this poses a burn hazard to consumers.

If you have the recalled product, stop using it and contact Empower Brands to receive a free replacement upper assembly for the steamer.

Reckitt is recalling over 67,000 of its AirWick Linen and Fresh Water aerosol air fresheners. The company says a single batch of the aerosol air fresheners is missing a corrosion inhibitor, which can lead to corrosion and rupture of the metal can. The corrosion of the container could also leak, posing a risk of skin and eye irritation.

If you have the recalled air fresheners, wrap the product in several layers of paper and throw it away. Reckitt is offering consumers a voucher for a free replacement.

Rad Power Bikes is recalling over 29,000 of its ‘Rad Wagon 4 Electric Cargo Bikes.’ The rim strip on the tires can be misaligned, causing the tube to pop and damage the tire. The tires with a ribbed sidewall can also unexpectedly go flat, risking serious injuries from loss of control or crash.

If you have the recalled E-bike, contact Rad Power Bikes to schedule a free repair to replace both tires and rim strips. The company is contacting all known purchasers directly.
