Recall Alert: tea kettles, bicycle straps and gas stoves

Target is recalling over 12,000 of its tea kettles.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Target is recalling over 12,000 of its tea kettles. The company says the paint can chip on the bottom of the recalled kettles, posing a fire hazard. The company says the handle can also break or the spout can leak, posing a risk of burn injuries.

If you have recalled tea kettle, return them to any Target store for a full refund, or contact Target to receive a prepaid return label to return the product by mail.

Swift Industries is recalling over 1,000 of its rubber straps for Swift bicycle bags. The rubber straps that fasten the bicycle bag to the bicycle can break, causing the bag to come loose and fall. The company says this poses crash and injury hazards to the rider.

If you have the recalled swift straps attached to bicycle bags, throw them away and contact Industries for a free replacement strap. Swift is contacting all known purchasers.

Katadyn North America is recalling over 1,000 of its ‘Optimus Gemini Portable Gas Stoves.’ The stove’s gas regulator can have a tear in the seal, causing a gas leak and this poses a fire hazard.

If you have the recalled stoves, return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or contact the company for a full refund. They are also contacting all known purchasers directly or through its retail partners.
