Ricketts reveals a federal issues forum, a day before debate

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KLKN) — Today, Sen. Pete Ricketts announced a new event at the Nebraska State Fair at the end of August.

Just a day before his upcoming debate with opponent Dan Osborn, Ricketts will be speaking about federal issues.

Sen. Deb Fischer and Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins will join Ricketts on Aug. 31 at 3 p.m.

“This year, we are celebrating 250 years of American freedom. The Federal Issues Forum is an opportunity to honor our nation and discuss how we are working to build the next 250 years,” said Ricketts. “I encourage all Nebraskans to attend.”
