Road closed in Seward due to heave, likely from excessive heat

SEWARD, Neb. (KLKN) — Today, Nebraska is facing a major heat wave. With temperatures reaching upper 90s to feeling like nearly 115 degrees, heat advisories have been issued for a majority of the state.

The City of Seward announced a heave in a road, stating it is likely due to the excessive heat.

They said Graham Park Drive will be closed east of 4th Street and that crews will be assessing the damage. The workers will be aiming to make repairs tomorrow, July 28.
