Rocket Fizz Lincoln at SouthPointe to close its doors after 10 years in business
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A candy shop in south Lincoln has announced that it plans to close sometime next month.
The owners of Rocket Fizz Lincoln announced that their shop at SouthPointe Pavilions will close in mid-April after 10 years in business.
A definite closing date has not been decided, and the owners say that will depend on their inventory.
The owners say they plan to close up shop because they’re getting closer to retirement age and the labor market is tight.
They ask that gift certificates be used as soon as possible because refunds will not be issued after the closing.
In a Facebook post, Rocket Fizz thanked its customers, current and former employees, and the family and friends who have supported the business all these years.
