RSV and flu cases drop across Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Doctors are giving Nebraskans some good news but say it doesn’t mean you can let your guard down.
Flu and RSV cases in Nebraska are at their lowest level in months.
Last week, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services reported 739 positive influenza cases in the state. More than 1,300 cases were reported the week prior.
The department also reported 191 RSV cases between Jan. 1 and Jan. 7, the lowest number since September.
RSV cases peaked in early November, when 721 cases were reported within a week.
The 1,156 COVID-19 cases reported last week was the fewest since October.
