Another republican is on the ballot for U.S. Senate.

Ben Sasse toured the state today to discuss his campaign. Sasse announced his candidacy in Fremont Monday.

Right now, four republicans are running for U.S. Senate. Sasse said his main goal is to try and get rid of ObamaCare.

“We think that Nebraska ultimately needs in the US senate not just a vote against ObamaCare, we need a voice for a better future and we need a voice against the world view that gave us ObamaCare,” he said.

This is the first time Sasse has thrown his hat in the political ring. He is currently the president of Midland University.
