Saturday Evening Storm Update, Sunshine Returns Sunday

Df Forecast Lows Statewide

Temperatures across the state this evening will range from the mid-40s to the upper 50s.

Above is the latest run of StormCast, showing one round of storms moving along the Kansas-Nebraska line and another round of storms moving in from the northwest. The storms to our south will likely be the strongest, but scattered severe storms remain possible in that second wave of storms.

Df Skycast Tonight

Following our early chance of storms in Lincoln, expect gradual clearing through the overnight hours. Temperatures will fall to the middle 50s with a gusty northerly wind.

Df State Tomorrow High

Highs will be cooler on Sunday with temperatures in the 60s and 70s statewide. The strong wind out of the north-northwest will stick with us into the afternoon.

Df Day Planner With High Pivot

Behind the passing cold front, Sunday looks to give us plenty of sunshine in the Capital City. Temperatures should be pleasant, only reaching the mid-70s.

Df 10 Day Forecast

We take our time returning to the upper 80s and lower 90s, with a sunny start to the work week. Highs will peak on Wednesday with another chance for showers and thunderstorms. Our chances for precipitation will depend on Gulf moisture returning to the central plains by the middle of the week. The forecast looks more like summer for the back half of the week.
