SCC, Concordia University announce scholarship opportunities

Southeast Community College and Concordia University are partnering up.

“It’s a tremendous opportunity,” said SCC President Dr. Paul Illich.  “It’s a guarantee of a $15,000 scholarship to Concordia for two years if you’re a graduate from SCC.”

SCC grads transferring to Concordia can also receive a $2,000 dollar New Horizons scholarship.

SCC said this partnership gives their students the chance to continue on, after earning their two-year degree.

Concordia University said this also helps them grow.

“We’ve been searching for partners that we could grow with and thrive with,” said Concordia University President Dr. Brian Friedrich.  “And Southeast Community College is one of those partners that shares a lot of the same values to grow, to serve students, to give students opportunity and access.”
