Schwellenbach earns First-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American

Spencer Schwellenbach earns more post season awards

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN/NU Athletics) – Spencer Schwellenbach’s postseason accolades continue. The Husker was named First-Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American on Saturday morning.

Schwellenbach is the first Husker to earn first-team All-America honors since Alex Gordon in 2005.

He was top 10 in the conference in runs, RBIs and walks. The Husker was the No. 3 hitter for the team, started at shortstop and was the team closer.
