Sen. Fischer awarded Champion of the Industry Award

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) awarded Sen. Deb Fischer the Champion of the Industry Award.

AEM is a trade association that represents companies that manufacture equipment, products and services for agriculture, construction and more.

The award is given to select members of Congress that showed bipartisan support for equipment manufacturing.

“Manufacturing is a cornerstone of the U.S. workforce and economy,” Fischer said. “I’m honored to receive this award again and proud of what we can accomplish when we work together. I’ll continue fighting in Congress for our manufacturers who lead the world in equipment innovation.”
