Several portions of Lincoln streets closing beginning Sept. 28

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Portions of five Lincoln streets are closing beginning the week of Sept. 28.

Westbound O Street between Ninth and 16th streets will close Sept. 28 for water main replacement work as part of Project O Street.

South 40th Street between Pioneers Boulevard and Calvert Street will close from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 for street repairs following emergency water main repairs.

Southbound 10th Street between Charleston and T streets will close from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 29 for utility work.

North 56th Street between Hartley and Knox streets will close Sept. 29 for utility work. The work is scheduled to be finished on Oct. 2.

Westbound Lincoln Mall between 13th and 14th streets will close on Oct. 1 for landscape maintenance. The work is scheduled to be completed by Oct. 6.

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities said they appreciated the public’s patience during the closures.
