Several street closures start Wednesday, StarTran routes affected

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Several street closures begin this week as the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) carries out multiple road projects.

Starting this Wednesday, Yankee Hill Rd, between S 40th and S 56th Streets, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The northbound lane on N 27th St, between Theresa St and Cornhusker Hwy, will also be closed Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The StarTran bus route 27-North 27th may be affected.

On Thursday, Adams St, between N 63rd and N 64th Streets, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree removal. The StarTran bus route 49-University Place may also be affected.

Digital signs will be put up to alert travelers of the closure.
