Severe Thunderstorm Watch in central and southwest Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in place for much of central and southwest Nebraska through 8 p.m. CDT Tuesday.

Watch

Strong storms will move across the state, from southwest to northeast, Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Those in the watch have the best chance at seeing large hail and damaging wind, with an isolated tornado also possible.

Those in eastern Nebraska may also see some isolated severe storms, but the threat is smaller for now.

Below is what our latest StormCast weather model is saying the storms will look like this evening.
