Severe Weather Threat – Storms and large hail possible

All eyes turn to the sky when severe weather is possible.

A warm front will be lifting north tonight and storms will be developing along the front and moving northward.

Storms are expected to initiate along the KS/NE border around midnight or shortly after and spread northward toward LNK.

The main threat will be LARGE hail of half dollar size or larger to the south of LNK

Timing on the storms arriving in LNK would be after 2am.

Heavy rain is also a good possibility as these storms develop.  As the storms move north of the I-80 corridor, they should weaken quickly.   If you can, put your vehicle in a garage tonight, especially in areas south of LNK.
