Slick road sends two cars into southeast Nebraska ditch, sheriff’s office says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Slick roads caused two vehicles to slide into a ditch Thursday morning in southeast Nebraska, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office says.

Deputies were responding to a crash near 120th and Pickrell Roads when another vehicle slid into a ditch about 500 feet east of the initial crash.

In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office said the Gage County Highway Department was notified of the slick road conditions.

A towing company was called in to get the two vehicles out of the ditch.

The intersection of 120th and Pickrell Roads is about 20 miles southeast of Hickman.
