Snow and rain potential Thursday
Drizzle is likely to continue through Wednesday night, then increase in intensity by early Thursday morning. Rain and snow will be likely, with more snow to the north, more rain to the south.
It’s then dry on Friday before another rain/mix chance on Saturday. Temperatures are going to be below average all the way through early next week!
Temperatures are going to be an important factor on our precipitation type tonight and Thursday. We drop to around the freezing mark tonight, meaning snow will be possible.
Temperatures won’t warm up a lot Thursday, but the will be above freezing and should be near 40 by mid morning. Because of this, snow changing back to rain is possible.
By mid morning, there will be more snow in central and northern Nebraska. More rain in SE Nebraska.
After it’s all said and done, the above graphic shows how much snow we may see across the state.
The amount of rain possible is shown above. It’s very possible we see rain and snow at the same time overnight and into Thursday!
