Soggy Wednesday forecast

Many of you might hear a few rumbles of thunder as you wake up this morning! Scattered thunderstorms are expected to fire up once the sun fully rises and I highly recommend grabbing the umbrella before you leave because they will stick around throughout the day today. Temperatures will remain mild in the mid-80s as a result of the rain and cloud coverage today. Most parts of southeast Nebraska will likely see around 1-2” of rain with a few spots possibly seeing higher. This is mainly due to the fact that the off and on storms will last overnight and into the day tomorrow. We might see a few linger into early Friday morning, but other than that we should dry out into the weekend with mild temperatures in the 80s.
