Windy and cool start to the work week 9/20/2021

An approaching cold front is firing up scattered showers and thunderstorms across southeast Nebraska this morning. Make sure to send the kids off to the bus stop with their rain gear to be on the safe side this morning. Wind speeds are also already blustery, with gusts around 30 mph this morning, and temperatures are mild in the low 70s. We will hit our high in the upper 70s close to noon today, and then temperatures will fall as the cooler air from the cold front builds in.
