Solid Rock Gymnastics to hold Friday day camps

Opportunity for kids to be active while off from school

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – With LPS canceling school for the next three Fridays, many parents may be concerned about having to skip work to stay home with their kids.  Solid Rock Gymnastics is offering a day camp for the next three Fridays to try and help parents and give kids a fun place to go while school is out.

Anyone ages 5-14 are eligible to attend the camps, which run from 8-4.  It’s open to everyone; there’s no need to worry if you are a gymnast or not.

Jessica Andrewson, Co-Owner of Solid Rock Gymnastics said, “We’ll have activities for them, they can play inside of the gym, we can watch movies if they prefer, we have crafts that they can do, we have gymnastics games we can engage with them.”

The camp is $40 per person.  Parents should drop off their children between 7:45 and 8 o’clock and the kid should bring a sack lunch with them.

The gym is following the local directed health measures and requiring masks for the camp.
