Sowers Club of Lincoln 2019 car show

A car show at the Gateway Mall brought in hundreds of people this afternoon.

“Well we have a car count of over 100, and several cars we’ve never seen before which is good, you like to see that. A lot of groups of people coming out together to have a good time,” Stan Dingen the event organizer said.

The car show raised money for the Lincoln family Autism network and the Child Advocacy Center.

Their goal was to raise more than $6,000 dollars from this event.

The organizers say seeing families come out from all over to enjoy unique cars is what makes today so special.

“It’s one of the things we try to do to make this a fun event. That’s why we have fun things for people to see thank to the fire department, the sheriff’s department, Lincoln Police Department and highway patrol. They bring out displays unique vehicles that you don’t get a chance to see so the family can enjoy,” Dingen said.

If you didn’t get the chance to visit the car show and donate to the cause you can go to https://thesowersclub.com/ to donate towards the Lincoln Sowers Club’s charities.
