Still need your COVID-19 vaccine? Here’s where you can sign up

From Pharmacies to the County Health Department, there is now a much longer list of places you can receive your COVID-19 vaccine. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – From Pharmacies to the County Health Department, there is now a much longer list of places you can receive your COVID-19 vaccine.

As of this week, the CVS Pharmacy on South Street (1550 South) joined forces with other businesses that are putting shots in arms. Appointments are booked at the moment, but you can check back in the future as more become available by clicking this link.

Along with CVS, two Walmart stores in Lincoln are giving out vaccines. The North 27th location and in south Lincoln, the Jamie Lane Walmart at 27th and Yankee Hill. You can schedule an appointment on their website, here.

Hy-Vee is another pharmacy that’s doing vaccines. Currently, all of their Lincoln locations are participating. To schedule an appointment for a vaccine, click here.

In fact, any pharmacy in the Federal Retail Program has been giving out shots, such as the RelyCare on N. Cotner Blvd in Lincoln. Click here to get on their waiting list for a COVID-19 vaccine.

The state started its first drive-thru location in Lincoln this week, out of Gateway Mall.

As of Thursday, the county Health Department announced they’re opening up registration for those 16 and up that want a vaccine. Those 16-year-olds would get the Pfizer vaccine, since Moderna and Johnson & Johnson are for people 18 and older. Those teenagers could potentially be vaccinated as early as Friday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
