Stolen Lincoln vehicle found damaged by gunfire in Minnesota

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vehicle stolen from a Lincoln business was found with gunfire damage in Minnesota, police say.

On June 7, a man used a stolen Ford pickup to break into a garage at LAX Auto near Fourth Street and Cornhusker Highway.

The man then took the keys to a 2015 Chevy Silverado, worth around $53,000, and left the area.  The suspect left the stolen Ford in a nearby parking lot, according to police.

Last week, Minneapolis Police were able to locate the truck, which had been damaged by gunfire.

Police are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the man seen in the security footage.
