LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Wednesday around 1:20 p.m. investigators with the Lancaster County Metrofugitive Task Force clocked a stolen vehicle near S 10th and South Streets.

Two people were in the car, later identified as 21-year-old Javon Kruse and 18-year-old Reagan Hanna.

Kruse was found to have several outstanding warrants for his arrest. When officers attempted to bring him in, he was not cooperative and sunk into his chair.

Investigators say he began to reach into his waistband, where a loaded .38 caliber revolver was stashed. The authorities were able to stop Kruse before he could grasp the revolver.

Kruse was arrested on a drug, theft, and weapons charge. Hanna was arrested on a drug and theft charge.
