Storm chances through Wednesday
Storms are possible on and off Tuesday into Wednesday. Severe weather will be limited, but a few strong storms are possible Tuesday night. Cooler air is here… for now!
If we do see any severe weather Tuesday night into early Wednesday, it would be in the green shaded “Marginal Risk” above. Hail and damaging wind is the main concern.
Excessive rainfall is also possible for storms that start to move over the same areas. This won’t happen to everybody in the green shaded area, but it’s where the chance for it to happen is located.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storm chances.
It will be MUCH cooler in eastern Nebraska Wednesday morning compared to temperatures earlier Tuesday.
It will be cooler than average for highs on Wednesday. The average high is 89!
The cooler air sticks around through Thursday, then the upper 80s and low to mid 90s come back through early next week.
