Storms west tonight, east Wednesday
There will be a chance for some storms tonight in western Nebraska, then central and eastern Nebraska on Thursday. The severe threat is low, but the chance for rain is decent. Temperatures will take a quick dip Friday and Saturday.
We do need the rain. All of us. Lincoln is almost 4″ behind in precipitation for 2023 with a total of 4.32″ so far.
Temperatures are going to be mild once again on Thursday with highs a little above average for many of us. But, some cooler air is on the way thanks to a cold front.
Above shows what our StormCast model is saying for precipitation chances Thursday. The best chance for rain in the Lincoln area will be in the afternoon.
