Sunday Farmers’ Market opens for the season

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The annual Sunday Farmers’ Market in College View kicked off their season Sunday morning.
Local vendors had set up tents outside Seventh-Day Adventist Church to provide fresh and unique products for customers.
The farmers’ market believes every member of the Lincoln community deserves access to healthy, sustainable food options.
“We have a great follow when it comes to the farmer’s market, we love being part of it,” said Doug Hunter, owner of Hunter’s Honey. “We work at the farmer’s market so we can continue to try and bring everything from the farm to the table and to serve the local community.”
The farmer’s market started back in 2005 and it has allowed farmers and other local vendors to connect.
It will be open every Sunday at College View from 1o AM to 2 PM until late October.
