Surfers take on an icy Lake Superior amid winter storms

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — There are only a few days out of the year when the conditions work just right for surfers on the Great Lakes.
A brave group from Duluth, Minnesota took advantage of recent strong winds.
They put on their wet suits and braved an icy Lake Superior in single-digit temperatures.
While the group may have had a blast, recent storms left millions of Americans under winter weather alerts this week.
Nearly one million power outages have been reported across the country and experts are warning of more snow, icing, and blizzard conditions ahead.
