Suspect arrested in Lincoln U.S. Bank robbery
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police arrested Michael McNeil on Saturday after identifying him as the person responsible for the U.S. Bank robbery earlier in the week.
On Wednesday, McNeil entered U.S. Bank with no weapon and passed the teller a note demanding money. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
McNeil, 29, was arrested during a traffic stop around 6:50 p.m. at 27th Street and Cornhusker Highway, police say.
He was arrested on suspicion of robbery and a class two felony.
The money was not recovered from the robbery.
